PPOC-BC-2021

As a creative, putting your work up for review and critique by other artists can feel very scary, however it is also very necessary to grow. Back in October I submitted four images into the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) regional competition GULP; four were awarded an accepted level award! OH My Gosh. I had even gone the extra mile to ask for additional critiques as an opportunity to really understand where I may be missing the mark and give me the chance to improve. Definitely not the most comfortable zone to be in, but then again life isn't lived in that comfort zone it’s at the outer edges. If you ever have an opportunity to submit for some competition and feedback, DO IT there's always room for learning no matter what level we are currently playing at ☝️
