“Never judge a book by its cover”

I am sure you have heard that saying over and over, but let's be real we are all judged in this day and age of social media, and sites like FaceBook, Instagram and even your corporate look on LinkedIn.  Because of this it's important to put your best foot or photograph forward.  So ditch the selfie stick and look to invest in a good image to reuse all over your socials.  If you are still not convinced here's 5 reasons it is a good idea.

1. You’ll Look the Part

If you want to be treated like a professional, you must look like a professional. Period.

2. It Will Help You Take Yourself Seriously

Making an investment in a professional to capture your images tells the world you take yourself and your career seriously. On a personal note, a great headshot will boost your self esteem as well, trust me on that one!

3. You’ll Stand Out From the Crowd

As important as a professional headshot is to landing a job even if you are your own boss, clients do peruse your about you page, or your other socials.

4. You’ll Be Remembered

A professional image will allow people to put a face to a name and be more likely to recall your name in whether before or after you meet.

5. This Is Your Only Shot

Pun intended. You have about 10 seconds to make an impression, so a good headshot is your best chance to make an instant (and lasting) first impression.
